While in school, I played European Handball and was a professional track athlete, competing in long-distance track and cross-country races. I continued running for “recreation” through my twenties and thirties and eventually joined a gym and added strength circuit training to my workouts.
One day at the gym, I was paying attention to one of the trainers and listened to how he guided a client through the workout. This was when I realized I can be a trainer, and my passion for helping others attain their fitness and nutrition goals began. I became a certified trained through NPTI – National Personal Training Institute in Seattle, WA.
Since December 2010, I train from my home studio. My primary “job” as your trainer is to properly prepare muscle tissue for higher training levels. Beginning with STABILIZATION and proceeding in a slow and organized manner to STRENGTH and POWER. This is a natural and SAFE progression of fitness training.
I strive to teach effective and efficient exercise programs that offer variety and meet my clients’ specific needs.
